The components for an incredible Vierendeel truss of weathering steel has now been fabricated, ready for its place on Four Pancras Square. Positioned between the first floor and second floor slabs, the truss will allow a more open ground floor to be created.
This building serves as the final piece of the puzzle that is King’s Cross Central; its façade faces the main thoroughfare for the development, so its presentation is key to the whole site.
Construction of Three Pancras Square, The Pavilion and T5 are also under way, whilst R7 is due to begin construction soon. These will be joining the already completed builds of One, Two, Five and Six Pancras Square that make up this exciting regeneration of the King’s Cross area.
