Luton Town Football Club’s new Power Court Stadium provides an iconic contemporary architecture – with a landmark skyline presence – to transform the club’s international profile. It is designed by Aecom, as the centrepiece for an eight-hectare masterplanned regeneration that also transforms Luton’s townscape.

Gary Sweet, Chief Executive Officer of Luton Town and 2020 Developments, described the planning committee’s decision as a “defining milestone” in realising the club’s long-standing plans for a new stadium. He highlighted the unique design, which incorporates elements from the historic Kenilworth Road stadium, and expressed excitement about moving forward with the project.

This approval marks a significant step forward for Luton Town FC, bringing the club closer to realising its vision of a modern stadium that honours its heritage while contributing to the town’s regeneration.
