The transformation of one of London’s most notable buildings has reached a major milestone with the topping out of The M Building, formerly known as 334 Oxford Street and home to the iconic Debenhams flagship store.
Led by Ramsbury Group and designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, the project is repurposing the historic department store into a dynamic workplace-focused development. The comprehensive refurbishment and extension of the existing structure aim to breathe new life into the space while respecting its heritage.
Once complete, The M Building will deliver premium office space alongside vibrant food and retail units, activating the streetscape along Marylebone Lane, Henrietta Place, and Vere Street. The transformation showcases how thoughtful engineering and design can reshape London’s architectural landscape, preserving the past while adapting to the future.
With construction moving into its final phases, attention now turns to the interior fit-out, preparing the building to welcome future tenants.
