The CTBUH 2025 International Conference is a leading global event that brings together architects, engineers, and urban planners to explore the future of tall buildings and sustainable cities. The committee, made up of CTBUH members based in the host city, plays a key role in shaping the direction and details of the event.

Charlie’s appointment aligns with AKT II’s expanding presence in North America, following the recent opening of the practice’s design studio in Toronto. With a growing portfolio of projects in the region, the studio strengthens AKT II’s ability to collaborate with local and international partners on innovative and sustainable urban developments.

His involvement in the CTBUH 2025 conference will help shape discussions on the future of tall buildings and vertical urbanism, reinforcing AKT II’s role in advancing structural design and engineering solutions for high-rise environments.

Charlie’s participation reflects AKT II’s commitment to thought leadership and engagement with industry-leading discussions in Canada.

“I’m excited to support the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) through our involvement in planning this years’ CTBUH 2025 conference!

This is a fantastic opportunity for AKT II to collaborate with other industry professionals to help shape the conversation on tall buildings ‘From the Ground Up’ and showcase so many innovative projects.”
