We are pleased to share an update on the upcoming Duke of York Restaurant, designed with Nex Architecture for Cadogan Estates.
Following the completion of the core in May, significant progress has been made, with the project recently celebrating its topping out!
The swift progress of the construction is thanks to the design of a precast concrete structural ribbon that coils to form the interior and exterior walls, as well as the core. This allowed the structure to be brought to site as individual panels and assembled with relative ease.
This contemporary design sits comfortably within the Duke of York Square, its large glazed panels creating a permeability that means the building is not imposing, and the provision of a public roof terrace provides a retreat with views of the historic area.
