It’s been a great year for AKT II at the RIBA Regional Awards, with prizes for no less than four of our local London projects!
Accolades went to:
- Five Pancras Square, the highly complex 15-storey headquarters for Camden Council designed with Bennetts Associates, which also won the RIBA Special Award for Sustainability,
- Ashmount Primary School, Britain’s first BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ school project, designed with Penoyre & Prasad Architects,
- Bonhams Auction House, a Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands-designed refurbishment project directly over the new Crossrail station at Bond Street,
- Queens Apartments, the stunning conversion of an art deco cinema in West London, designed with Stiff + Trevillion.
Well done to all involved, and here’s to our continued success in creating sustainable new and refurbished buildings across the capital!
