The Francis Crick Institute has received the spotlight in an article for Nature in which Ewen Callaway discusses its ground-breaking structure, particularly focusing on the innovative roof and huge basement, for which AKT II Director Rob Partridge was asked to comment.

Located in King’s Cross, London, the Crick is a new biology super-lab set to open to scientists and staff later this year. The article explores how the architecture and engineering was designed to accommodate the needs of the scientists, and questions the potential success of the project.
